Client & Product

Our client, Carbs & Cals, were already the authors of Bestselling Books & an Award-Winning App and wanted to expand onto YouTube.

They noticed that there were no official carb & calorie counting guides to help diabetics successfully track their intake throughout the day on YouTube and wanted to build an online community on the platform. 

Challenges

The main challenge for this project was building a community and pushing interaction with the videos. Our client wanted to increase book sales through the release of YouTube videos, so there was an emphasis on advertising whilst creating informative and entertaining videos.

Job Done

Working closely with the client we created a full platform asset bank of graphic designs, from simple things like a new channel banner, all the way to customised intro and outro sequence videos to create brand cohesion on the platform.

From then on we worked with creating consistent and interactive content for the channel, posting videos every week covering 4 key category playlists. The editing included original motion graphics, including manipulation of existing assets, and full range video editing. 

Implemented Features

Creation of Assets

The process of taking previously created elements and rebuilding them in a way that allows individual elements to be manipulated and animated.

YouTube Page Management

We created new YouTube Banners and profile photos to give the channel a new look. We carefully created playlists, cohesive video thumbnails, end screens and tags.

Video Creation

We produced one video a week from a pre-selected schedule, created one month in advance.

Improving Statistics

The focus was on improving viewership and subscribers. Viewership improved tenfold and subscribers were up 1K within the first month of release.

Outcome

Over a period of 6 months, Tower View Media rebranded and managed our clients YouTube Channel. We increased their subscribers by 300% and pushed views up to 9.7K.
